Musician
John Bradberry is an active and versatile Richmond guitarist and multi-instrumentalist known for playing with such acts as FACESHIP, JB3, Jackass Flats, Mackenzie Roark, Ben Butterworth and many other bands and songwriters, as well as fronting his own projects featuring original music and arrangements as the John Bradberry Trio, Bradberry & Company, etc. With a deep roster of collaborators, a diverse book of songs across styles and eras and a unique compositional voice, John has an expansive approach to the guitar with a love for color, harmony, and spirited improvisation. Though the electric and acoustic guitars are his first instruments, John is also a competent bass guitarist, lap steel guitarist and keyboardist.
Performing and Recording Artist
John is available for bookings for public concerts and private functions either as a featured performer or provider of background music for all manner of social events. Whether with a jazz trio, larger ensemble, party band, cocktail duo or as a solo guitarist, sounds can be tailored to fit your event's needs or to showcase original music and artistry. Educator and Ambassador
With a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and an extensive and varied background in performance and instruction, John is available on a selective basis for private instruction and group lessons as well as clinics, masterclasses, industry events and brand relationships.
